We deposited our money in the same bank account but I believe that I have separate property from that account. How can I recover those funds?
The general rule is that, if the separate and community contributions cannot be segregated, the entire fund or asset will be treated as community property. To determine separate property, the parties must trace the assets that went into the bank account to separate property.
Can we agree to change the character of our property?
A couple can enter into agreements to change the status of any or all of their properties.
My husband worked with this company for twenty years and the company has a very good pension plan, am I entitled to receive anything from his pension?
